Saving watering cost is what sets the artificial landscaping apart from using real plants and trees, it is by no means the only benefit. There are many more reasons why restaurant and hotel managers and owners should consider artificial trees or plants for their interior design.
No need for natural light
It used to be that you have to consider the amount of natural light in your hotel or restaurant before you consider adding greenery in your interior. This has all changed recently with the introduction of artificial plants for restaurants, indoor plants for cafes and even in the hospitality sector.
The fact is that there is no longer this inherent need for a hotel or restaurant to have an abundance of natural light in order to make the most of a green interior. The world of artificial landscaping has come up rapidly, and restaurants and hotels with little to no natural light have benefited greatly from these advances.
Low Maintenance
If you have ever owned or run a restaurant or hotel that had any form of plants as part of its décor, then you know the work that is required to keep your plants healthy and green. Not only that but you are also aware of the various costs attached to the maintenance of indoor or outdoor plants for restaurants, and more so for hotels. Now you can choose to fill entire rooms with green features. The only maintenance that it requires would be the occasional dusting to maintain your landscape’s beauty.
Fibreglass is a widely regarded product, used throughout many industries because of its advantages over rival products such as wood, steel, plastic and Aluminium. It is almost inevitable that you have come into contact with Fibreglass in some product form in your daily life. It has a number of applications because of its durability, whilst also being less-energy intensive in development. Fibreglass, also known as glass fibre reinforced plastic, is made of molten glass material passed through a series of fine holes. During the manufacturing process, various types of resins are added to the glass fibre after it has been woven together to provide more strength. Additionally, the resins are also used to facilitate the moulding of fibreglass into various shapes. Fibreglass is used widely to manufacture building materials, swimming pools, tanks, automotive equipment, boats and plant containers.
Before Installation: Remove existing materials and rough grade the area to create a solid sub base. Rough grade the area to uncover everything underneath, including electric wiring, irrigation, and pipes. Install the bender board to provide a clean separation for plants and turf. Base Construction: Install a less crushed base to allow for proper drainage. Install this layer three inches deep. Distribute base and make sure it is level to account for any sloping areas. Install the drainage area. A smooth base will account for the surface level appearance for the project. Compacting Base: Compact base by tamping and rolling the gravel. This ensures the base is solid so nails can be driven into the turf. Laying Turf: Find a straight edge of the turf or a perpendicular edge for alignment. Square to fit the area and minimize cutting and fitting on all four sides. Secure the turf edges with nails to hold it in place. Apply Adhesive: Use a power brush to force grass blades up for adhe...
